Chemlon 7500 Full Face Teflon™ Silica Gasket is a premium PTFE gasketing material manufactured from genuine Teflon™ filled with silica to deliver superior resistance to creep and cold flow compared to conventional PTFE. The full face design provides complete flange coverage for improved load distribution, flange protection, and reliable sealing performance. Chemlon 7500 offers excellent resistance to strong acids, including sulfuric acid, as well as hydrocarbons, making it well suited for demanding applications such as mining operations including sulfuric acid leaching and pressure acid leaching processes. The material lays flat for easier cutting and handling and is FDA compliant in accordance with FDA regulation 21CFR177.1550, with typical service including cryogenics, hydrocarbons, water, and saturated steam at pressures below 100 psi and temperatures up to 338°F.
