Standard with outer centering ring and 316ss inner ring which is suitable for raised face and flat face applications up to 2500#. Outer ring acts as a compression limiter and helps prevent inward buckling of the spiral wound sealing element. Recommended for higher pressure applications or where suggested by ASME B16.20.
